Some Tasty All Beef Dogs. (Great Bear Bait)

These are my favorite Hot Dogs, when I can’t get Berks “Quarter Pounders.”
These are Oscar Mayer All Beef Dogs, and the ones we get are longer than the Hot Dog Buns.
I always like it when my Meat to bread ration leans heavily toward the Meat.

Anyway, I put the slits in these & Fried them in a Pan.

Everything else will be in the Captions above each picture (below).

BTW: I threw a pair of French Bread Pizzas in at the end, for your viewing Pleasure.

Thanks for stopping by,

Bear

Toasting up a pair of Hot Dog Buns:

LOL---I actually like them closer to the one on the left, but the one on the right got done a little more, and broke too. That will go away when I eat it:

Some Kelchner's Hot Mustard & some French's Yellow. Note the Meat to Bread Ratio is the way I like it:

Added some Baked Beans on the side & a couple Amish MustardEggs:

Next night's Supper included some Hot Dog Relish & 3 Amish Mustard Eggs:

And here's a Bonus meal of 2 French Bread Pizzas that spent about 8 minutes in my Air Fryer #360:

They make great fish bait too! When I was a kid I caught a bluefish on an Oscar Meyer all beef hot dog...no lying!

Good looking meal. Gonna have to google that mustard.

Everything looks good Bear. I have never heard of Berks hot dogs. Are they a regional brand only? When I lived in Connecticut we would buy Kahns hot dogs and they were very good. Unfortunately, I can't find them in southeast Florida.

Nothin wrong with Oscar Meyer dogs . Those look great . I've started cutting the slits . I like it .
I'm hooked on Stadium mustard for hot dogs , but I'll look for the Kelchner's when I run out .
Nice work .

Those are some good looking dogs! I like the idea of toasting the buns. And good looking pizzas also!

Nice job Bear. Not much that's more all American than a hot dog. We don't eat a lot of them but I very much prefer the all beef, 100% natural quarter pound dogs similar to yours. The ones we get aren't as long but are enormous in diameter. I kinda like the configuration of yours better. By the time you get all the goodies loaded on ours you've got something akin to the massive stuff that Travis ( @Sowsage ) has a history of posting up and need a jaw that will disjoint like a snake so you can get a bit of it.

Looks delicious Bear! I like all kinds of all beef hotdogs! Those French bread pizza are looking good too!

Looking tasty!

I’ve gotten into a habit of keeping a supply of German sausage and all beef dogs from our local meat market. Anytime I’m smoking, especially with hickory, I toss a couple on to help pass the time. What a treat!

Looks delicious Bear! I love hot dogs. Oscar Meyers are good. Wife ony likes Hebrew National Bun Length or Sabrett's natural casing. The Sabrett's we cannot get here. I like most All Beef Hot Dogs in the 1/4 lb size like you have there. To me that's a perfect size with unlimited potential. Thanks for sharing.

LOL---I was talking to a Buddy of mine on the boardwalk in Jersey one time.
He was leaning against a railing, with his right arm stretched out a little, with most of a Hot Dog in his hand. Right before my eyes, a Sea Gull dropped down behind him & pulled the Dog right out of the Roll in his hand & took off, before he was able to move.
If I would laugh that hard now, I'd need oxygen!!!
My Buddy said "I hope he likes Mustard!"

Thank You Jim!!
I found Kelchner's Web Site, and I use at least 5 of their products, so I order a bunch & save a little that way. Some of their stuff is in our stores, because they are from right close to us, but not all items are in the stores.

@Bearcarver I found it also. Gonna order some of their mustard.

If you have an Ocean State Joblot near you they carry several of the Kelchners products.

Their Hot Mustard is Great, but I also like their Horseradish, Creamy Horseradish Sauce, Pineapple Teriyaki, Brown Sugar & Bourbon, and there is a bunch I haven't tried yet.
Until about a year ago, I only knew about the Horseradish, and we've been using that for over 50 years.

Thank You Rob!!
"Berks" are out of Reading PA. They make a "Quarter Pound Dog" that is sold at all the WaWa stop & gos in PA, NJ, DE, but the only ones I can find in markets are the regular size Dogs.
That's why We eat Oscar Mayer Dogs most of the time.

Here’s the post I did on the Berks’ Dogs:

That Bear sure is fatting up for the winter. We found a 1/4 ponder all beef in sams club their brand but a great dog. Package 12 in pack $9

Looks good! Never tried the hot mustard stuff. I’ll have to look for it.

Thank You Justin!!
I like a number of Hot Mustards, but this is my Favorite.
Some of them taste sour.

I enjoy most Dogs, but these & Berk's Quarter Pounders are my favorites.
Berk's are like you say---Shorter & fatter, and I would have trouble eating a huge Burger too, since I got rid of my Dodge Ram, and I don't think Mrs Bear would like me using her "XT4" to run over my burgers.
And Thanks for the Like.
