Pulled Beef Sammies (Bear Style)

So I made an awesome 3+ pound Chucky the other day, and had a lot left over.
I had made it SV, and due to a request from Mrs Bear there was no smoke involved in the initial act.

Original Chuck Roast Cook: https://www.smokingmeatforums.com/threads/pulled-beef-from-sv-chuckies.273459/

So I got out my Christmas Present (Smoking Gun), to see what I can do with my leftovers.
Using some Hickory dust, I was able to put some Smoke on my own personal Sammies.
The Pics below will show what I did. (Captions included)

Thanks for stopping by,

Bear

Started with 3 pounds of Tender Pulled Beef:

The first night's Hot Roast Beef Sammy with Gravy & Fries:

Then Came The Leftovers

A little Sauce & some Pulled Beef Ready for some Smoke:

Sammy is in the Jug, and Smoking Gun is pumping it full of Hickory Smoke:

After Smoking:

Then Melted some Cheese on top:

Now some Horsey Sauce on a Roll:

A pile of Pulled Beef on each half:

I put some Smoke on them & a piece of cheese on each:

Melted the Cheese to finish:

Bear,
Looks fantastic. Love your chuckie recipe which I've now done twice recently. Sandwich in a smoking gun? Isn't there anything sacred? LOL. Nice presentation.

Bear how did smoke come thru using the gun flavor wise, I like to use a nice big chuck when I make sauerbraten and potato dumplings

Smoke came through good, but I didn't give it much.
You can keep giving it if you want more.

How does The Smoking Gun work?

Not sure what you mean:
If you mean "Does it work good?"---Yes it works great.

If you mean "How" does it work---You put one end of the hose in the gun, and the other end where you want the smoke to go. Then you put just a pinch of sawdust in the little burn pot. Then while holding a match to the sawdust, you turn the Fan on (Low or High) & the fan sucks the match flame through the burn pot, lighting the sawdust & sending the smoke through the attached hose. There is a screen at the bottom of the burn pot to allow the smoke to go through, without allowing the sawdust & ashes to go through.
And Thanks for the Like.

Nice meals Bear, the hot beef with gravy fries is awesome looking!

The smoking gun on a Sammie, I might have to try that technique, great idea.

Thank You John!!
I'm still experimenting with that gun, as far as how long to smoke.
And Thanks for the Like.
