How would pecan pellets be for pp? 

I used pitmasters last time, but I am almost out.
 
Would it be a good idea to cut the shank off? I think I want too.

Dont know why the pics are sideways, but I am waiting on the wife to get home so I can finish making the rub for it.

OH, forgot to say that I am using Emans pig rub.   I love that rub.
