Pork and beans smoky style

So I swam a whole pork loin in apple juice,1/4 cup salt overnight.Rinsed and then a light amount of Jeff's rub minus the salt with a small amount of Indian Korma sauce and into the MES with a tube of apple dust.The beans are Bush's Original doctored with uncured bacon,chourico and diced onions.All went in and came out at the same time...a little less than three hours.Probably one of the simplest yet most delicious meals I've had in a while.

And some bonus chicken thighs done in the new Ninja.Spog and 30 mins at 350.

Ok....dat do look good :emoji_wink: I'm all about simplicity. No need to get super fancy to put out some great food.

Norm , that loin looks perfect bud . Nice fried chicken too .
Those air fryers make great chicken parts .

Great cook! Looks delicious! We’ve been doing the air fryer for thighs lately too and they really do come out incredible!
 
Nice I can't bring myself to use already premade baked beans in my baked beans recipes lol canned pintos are cheating as it is /snicker. Nice though ty for sharing like the pork recipe.

Jane generally does beans 100% scratch just not enough time this time around. The chourico and bacon make the canned guys taste much better.
 
Looks like a great meal to me. And I also use canned baked beans as a base for my own beans.
