Pop & Peanuts

My dad took me to a place in Texarkana that he used to go to when he was a kid - George`s I think? They had an orange drink, not really a soda, and used the little peanuts with the skins. It was pretty good if I recall correctly.

Edit: it was named Guy's and it has closed.

Yep, when I was 7 or 8 my Dad would take me down to the local Beer Joint on the corner with him (legal in Oklahoma back then) and I would have a coke and peanuts.  He would have a couple Ham's while I was sipping my peanuts, and we would go on our way.  Good old days back then. We were good friends.  Lost him in 1977.

Still do Coke and Peanuts every once in a while, it always brings back memories.
