Pizza Changes (For the Ninja)

Pizza Changes (For the Ninja)


OK Gang, in case any of you get one of these Ninja Smart Grills, I have to warn you, I had to make a change on how I build my Pepperoni Pizzas.
You will see in my Pics below what happened, and what I had to do to avoid that problem.
The first time it happened I figured it was a Fluke, so I didn’t change anything.
Then when it happened exactly the same the second time, I had to make a slight change,
The Wind inside the Ninja blew the Pepperoni slices off the Pizza, into a corner.
The Air Fryer Fan must really create a Tornadic Wind in order to cause this.
So the Pepperoni was well done & curled up, and all laying in the corner.
The rest of the Pizza was fine, so I made my Change the next time, and ever since.

The Pizzas aren’t as Pretty the New Way, but they taste just as good.

This is the way my Pizzas used to look, with the Pepperoni on top of the cheese: Right one ready to go in---Left one just came out of my #360 Air Fryer:

I made this one the same way, but the Wind Forces in My Ninja are so strong, they blow the Pepperoni off the top,
and they get well done & lay in a corner.
Here I threw them back on top before taking this picture:

This is how I have to build them when I put them in My Ninja, with the Mozzarella on top, to hold the Pepperoni in place:

The pizza looks good. For me, the crispier the pepperoni gets the better I like it. Bev too. We were just talking about pre-frying pepperoni to get it more crispy. That would work under cheese if crisp is your think...JJ

Looks good Bear. For me, I always try to get cupped pepperoni. Love the crispy edges and that little puddle of grease in them.

Looks good Bear! But which way is the wind blowing in your cooker? Maybe just weight down the leading edge of the slices with some cheese? Or maybe use a sliced olive or pepper? Maybe double thicknesses of pepperoni would be stable enough?
You could always stake them down with a short toothpick? (Remove before eating...I forget that with bacon stakes sometimes!)
Or maybe it's just as tasty this way!

I never liked hard things mixed with soft stuff.
Like I love Nuts, but not in my chocolate, not in my cookies either.
And I like Beef sticks more than Jerky.
Call me strange!!!---I never could eat Reese's PB cups while drinking Beer either!! But I loved Beer & I loved PB Cups!!

looks good Bear, thats how I like my cheese.... again no onions ... just ribbing you John
I know some will not like this but put your sliced peperoni in the microwave between paper towel and zap for a little bit. crisps up the peperoni and than on your pizza under the cheese that way the meat is crispy also. If that is what you want.

We just use "Mama Mary's Pizza Crust". It's our favorite!!

Looks great about however they are assembled. Bet they taste great both ways too.
