Peperoni snack sticks

Good morning,

I am gearing up to make a small batch of peperoni flavored snack sticks. Whats everyones opinion on smoke with peperoni. Does adding the element of smoke during the cooking process enhance the flavor, or is it detremental to the final product.

I've never done pepperoni, but have done teriyaki and they were really good with a little smoke. You could always split the batch and smoke half of it to see what you like.

It's a matter of personal preference, there is no right answer.
Everyone has their own notion of what's "good".

I like pepperoni with or without smoke, depends on my mood.
