i would like to try different flavors of pellets but I am having a hard time finding small quantities. I would like to find 1-2lb bags so I can try them before I buy a 20lb bag.

Todd's pellets are the best, as is Todd. No downside to following SonnyE's recommendation. After you've tried the small quantities, get your big bags there as well.

If you order from Todd, wait for a sale... $49 ships free.... That's what I shoot for... Pit Choice, Alder, Mesquite, Maple, Sweet Wood, Apple....etc... What ever suits my fancy... Mostly Pit Choice.. I find they all are good... Alder and Maple for fish for sure.. Mesquite mixed in with others as it's too strong for me alone to use on beef.. Since he quit selling Cob, my buddy brought me a bag from Tractor Supply...
FWIW... Todd's pellets are the best... Todd's the best...
