Few years ago I planed Elephant Garlic outside my privacy fence. I have black clay. They came up and I let them go two years. Had a heck of a time getting them out of that clay. I planted the corns from the heads last year. None came up. I just bought a pound of seeds from farmers market. I bought some 5 gallon fabric bags to try. Plan on using two. Thinking 6 in each. I sure this will work but not sure how much I going to have to water? Fabric bags dry pretty fast. Any idea's? Sure hate the thought of having to water for almost a year. I wish Sam's still had their bags of soil. Was a good price and worked very good this year. Guess go to Home Depot and see what I can find.
