Made pastor tacos today. Loved the turkey hanger/stand I got. Worked great. Sliced the pork 1/4" thick. Blended the marinade and let it sit 24 hrs. Smoked at 275 for about 7 hrs. Corn tortillas, onion, cilantro and limes. Keep them simple.
Sweet, damn that looks freak'in amazing.
I noticed that you didn't have any pineapple one yours, don't you like it or you just didn't have any on hand?
We get fresh pineapple straight from Hawaii at our local farmers market it's so sweet it's crazy good.
By the way I'm way more redneck than you, I made Pastor using one of my old aluminum carp fishing arrows. (yes it was a new one) The expandable arrow point worked awesome for sliding the meat onto the arrow. Then I hung it from my deck awning by some bailing wire that had a fishing swivel so I could spin it with a stick while laying in my hammock. I have a picture somewhere I had a 40 OZ Oly in one hand and my spinning stick in the other I'll look for it, it's a classic.

Great looking Pastor, I bet it was awesome!!!

Nice work and good idea to use the turkey fryer hanger.

Man this looks good... now I gotta find a hanger
You have to get in touch with your inner redneck, heck you can use a wire coat hanger with a few bends and twists. Just make sure to burn off the vinyl coating off the hanger first.:emoji_joy:

Wow that is awesome! Beautiful tacos. I absolutely love pastor tacos but never made them close to the traditional way.

That’s some good thinking using the turkey hanger and suspending it in the smoker. I have an old fryer setup that I inherited and restored (cleaned/repainted the stand and installed a new burner) but I need to check if I have the turkey holder. If so these will be made.

Those tacos are money man! Look so good! I have got to give this a try. I know you cant really monitor this by IT but do you run it 7 hours at 225?

Edit: Sorry I see now you said 275 for 7 hours.
