Made pastor tacos today. Loved the turkey hanger/stand I got. Worked great. Sliced the pork 1/4" thick. Blended the marinade and let it sit 24 hrs. Smoked at 275 for about 7 hrs. Corn tortillas,onion,cilantro and limes. Keep them simple.

What cut of pork did you use for the spit?

Never had al pastor. I love shawarma and pork would be typical flavors

Lol.. already looking but will def check this one out.. on the pork just cut 1/4 slivers I take it? Then stacked it on the rack and cut it after its cooked.. i assume
 
I took the bone out and sliced 1/4" thick. Stacked,cooked and sliced off. When slicing off some pieces got a little big just choped smaller.

I like how the hanger and be used as a hanger or free standing. Plan on hanging a turkey breast down for Thanksgiving.

I'm trying to work up the courage to do a turkey. Did just a breast and it was so good.. the brine process is my uncertainty
