Our first annual sausage gatheting.

  1. A couple of friends have been inspired by my latest sausage creations & want to get together and make large batches so Saturday these are the types we will be making. 25 lbs cheddar brats, 25 lbs cheddar jalapeño brats, 25 lbs mushroom Swiss brats, 25 lb smoked kielbasa, 25 lbs fresh kielbasa & 25 lbs chicken with sundried tomato, garlic, basil, and mozzarella.

  14. Well, fresh & smoked kielbasa done, chicken sausage stuffed & up to temp, mushroom Swiss stuffed & up to temp, cheddar in the hot water, on to cheddar jalapeño...there may be some bourbon in my future.

    Great looking every tasty one of them! How long did it take to make them all?
     
  19. Thanks & we worked a couple of house Friday night deboning the chicken & did the smoked kielbasa so it could cure & about 5 hrs on Sat not including clean up & beets after. That includes a few grill tests, beer breaks, & some ncaa basketball.
