I've got one entry already. I think this is the earliest that I've ever gotten one, and it's a good looking entry to boot.

Remember folks, if you're entering the poultry TD. Please don't post a cook thread until after all the judging has been completed and the winners announced. I know it's a long time to hold it, but with the prizes we're offering it's worth the wait. I hate DQ'ing folks, but we want to keep it as fair as possible.

Good luck to all

The rules mentioned an entry fee. Is that still a thing?
No there isn't an entry fee. I'll have to reread the rules to see what they say. I'm sorry if there is any misunderstanding, but this is the first time I've heard anything about an entry fee. I'll correct it if I find it.

Josh, I just reread the rules and didn't see any mention of an entry fee. Could you please point me to where you read this? Or better yet can you copy and paste it here. If I'm missing something then I'm sorry and want to make any corrections to help prevent any future confusion.

Thanks

Chris

And of course that would be because my ADHD brain read "prepaid" instead of "prepared". I need help. :-)

Chris, Would you mind pointing me the the "Rules"" thread? I did a search and receiver 2 pages of "Throw Down Rules" and looked into most of them I think without finding any stated rules. Thanks for the help. If I violated some rules with my pic I was unknowing.

No problem Denny, there is a link in post #1 of this thread, but here it is again.

As for the picture you mention. If you're talking about the one you put in this thread(post #21). Then unfortunately that would have to be DQ'd for a couple of reasons. First it was posted in the open forum, and second the code word poultry wasn't included in the pic. Also remember the code word cannot be computer generated. It has to be handwritten and included in the picture. We try to keep these TDs as fair as possible. Even the three member judging panel won't know whose entry is whose. Heck, the judges don't know who the other two judges are. If you're planning on entering the TD then send me a picture of your entry via PM. With the codeword poultry included in your photo(handwritten) and a short one sentence description of your plate.

If you have any more questions fire away. I'll try and answer them to the best of my ability.

Chris

A day late, but here's the hump bump for this week.
