Yea, it has been a good bit windy here in ky today. It probably would have elt pretty decent out if not for the wind.

Went from 17-20 mph to within the last hour 0 mph but now the temp is dropping.


Oh well the butt is getting closer.

Kentucky weather is pretty fickle in winter. One day might feel like spring, the next, freezing cold. We have a saying, if you don't like the weather in Kentucky, stick around for a few minutes, it'll change.

Dang winds were killing me today.

Finally done. Almost 14.5 hours.
OKJ Bandera (like other smokers) has a little learning curve.

I went a full bare smoke (not wrapped) spritzed with apple cider vin & apple juice every hour or so.

Clean bone.
