I was in our local Whole Foods yesterday, just looking and I happened to glance at the Baby Backs... They wanted $8.99 a pound for them!!!!  Mind you this is in Massachusetts where there was still 1 1/2 -2 feet of standing snow on the ground (Not that that stops me!)

Most here has them at $4.99, one this weekend had them for $3.99

4.99 is about the normal  price around here in central Illinois.

Sams is usually a little less and you can catch a sale  now and then for around 3.00

rare occation for 2.69

Everything at Whole Foods is high. Not just the organic stuff, but regular items. The best price around here is Sam's. Our Walmart has a pretty good meat dept. too.
