Hello every one. I'm one of the new dogs in the park. I turn 70 this Sat so thought it would be great to see if I could learn some new things and get to make new friends.
I'm a retired chef by trade, love to fish, garden, work with wood, and cook among other things. I was born and raised in Texas but now live in Paris Tennessee. I was in the Navy for six years and spent two tours in Vietnam. Married to my current wife 33 yrs this coming August. Have 6 children, 5 living 19 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. I am wanting to learn how to make a great beef sausage and smoke it. I miss the smoked sausage from Tyler and Elgin Texas. Thats all I can think of at present. So looking forward to learning and sharing anything that I know as well. So I'll close with a great big HOWDY and THANKS for letting me join your group.
