Newbie from Tulsa, OK

Just bought a smoker and found this website by accident.  appears to be a wealth of knowlegdge here and can't wait to dig in.  Been grilling all my life and ready to start smoking.  I have a 42" barrel smoker with side fire box???  I think, not sure about all the technicalities.  But I will learn.  I am in the process of painting it, as it was used, with a little rust.  I will take pics once complete and post them.
