My name is Vince Gore, I live near New Orleans and I so happy to have found this community! I love all things grilled/smoked and I'm looking forward to picking some brains here. I have been using the ECB for years with much success and I have just ordered a Traeger pellet grill to play around with. Seriously considering a mobile grilling restaurant to work state fairs, festivals etc. So I'm here to learn and have some fun! Feel free to find me on facebook (Vincent Gore).
Hello and Welcome to our addiction.  A word of warning: There is no 12 step program for this one!  Many good folk here with a load of experience that they are more than willing to share.  If you have specific questions just start a thread and someone with experience will be along soon to offer advice.  All info you can provide us with such as smoker type, location and so on will help us answer any questions you may have.  Spend some time doing some research on the forums, tons of advice and recipes already available there.  We look forward to your contributions.  Have fun.  Good luck.  Keep Smokin!

Thanks for all the kind replies. My focus is going to be on pulled pork, which in my opinion, is the king of smoked meats. I am going to to pulled pork sandwiches, pulled pork tacos, pulled pork nachos..possibly a few other variants. Anyone who has any ideas at all please share, as I am open to your input. When I get the Traeger up and running (ordered it today) i will post pics etc.
