I am Denver, Pa and am building a wooden outhouse style smoker and plan to use a 55 gallon drum for the firebox. I am about halfway done with it. I had wanted to buy one but had some unexpected bills and decided to try this way as a cheaper route. It is about 3' square and 6' tall, hope to do a bunch of meat at one time eventually.

Here is a couple pics of what is looks like now. Ready to make the door, install a vent, and trim it up. These boards were laying around so it takes some time to cut these boards straight, hopefully it won't take to long yet.
