There was a time when I thought I was smoking on my Weber Performer, but that all changed when my wife gave me a Weber Smokey Moutain 22.5" For Christmas. Wow what a difference!

I have only done a few chickens and a side of ribs, but smoking is amazing with the right equipment.

Hope to learn plenty from this forum.

Welcome to the forum, Paul. Great info and great folks here. That Weber is one of the best bang for your buck cookers you can get. But looks like you already figured that out. All the best to you.

Welcome to the group Paul!  Congrats on that new WSM!  Those are nice rigs.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of good people here who know their stuff and genuinely enjoy helping one another.  Looking forward to your input around here, and just ask when you need anything...someone will surely have the answer.
