Hi All... My name is Mitch and I live in Chandler, AZ. I recently received a Masterbuilt Pro propane vertical smoker for Father's Day (ok, I went and bought it myself but my wife and 4 kids told me to do it) ...

So my first smoke session I tried pork loin, chicken breast and sweet corn. Everyone loved it and I have to say it was a blast. My wife actually said she can't imagine eating chicken any other way now; so I took that as a positive.
Today I tried a couple of chuck steaks/roasts and they developed a great bark but came out a little dry for my preference but I'm willing to learn from previous all the threads on SMF and any additional tips, tricks or perils. Thanks and look forward to many conversations

Welcome to the board and settle in, you'll have a lot of fun with that smoker. You're already off to a good start!
