Good morning all! I have been lurking here off and on for some time and decided it's a new year and time to do things different.

First I must say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! I have learned and enjoyed most of what I have seen and tried.

I now own a new "Smoke Hallow" grille/smoker (thank you great wife of mine) that I received for christmas. This week end will be its first test run, a couple of butts and a bunch of beer.

First off Welcome Tex to SMF. You'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.

For years I've been hoping for an All PA Super Bowl.

We've come close a number of times, but NO CIGAR!

Then I could watch my favorite team & my second favorite team at once.
