Just checking in as new member in the midwest. My name is DaNene. Have been playing around with smoking meat and all its fixings for several years now. Not a beginner, but not a grand champion either! My father and one of my brother's likes to smoke food too. I have an electric charbroil smoker, but do most of my smoking on the charcoal side of my dual Charbroil Grill. I don't have a smoke box. I just put the chips right on the charcoal. As we speak I am smoking a turkey breast, potatoes, and pecans! I am a teacher and look forward to this time in the summer where I can spend more time smoking food! I am a lady smoker and griller and love to do it all year round! I look forward to learning a lot of new things on this forum and sharing things as I go as well.
