The wife just told me she wants wing for lunch. Well the wings are defrosting in water now. Anyhow what i am looking for are suggestions for something quick and easy. I dont have time to smoke them so i am just going to do them on my propane. After they are defrosted should i let them soak in something and at what temp should i cook them?

Thanks in advance guys

You can do a quick brine, but will not get much effect out of it.
You could inject a flavor if you like. I have seen some do wing sauce mixed with butter. Serve with either ranch or blue cheese dressings.

Just be careful of the amount of oil you use. It will caus flare ups.

thanks for the suggestion! You said be careful about the oil, can you elaborate. What should i use the oil for? Also hat temp should i cook them at?

that recipe sounds awesome! ill have to try it at a different time. Dont exactly have the time for that. This was an absolutely last minute plan haha.I think i am going to let them soak in olive oil for a about 20 minutes and then put some rub on and go from there. I wish i would have seen the creole butter recipe earlier!!! Anyhow thanks for the input guys! I learn something new here everyday

Be careful with that olive oil on a grill - it will burn very quickly at grill temps

The oil is what is in a lot of marinades. The oil will burn and give you a black soot like film on the meat.

Since you are soaking them in olive oil. Remove them about 5 min before you place them on the grill to allow the excess to come off the meat. If you can preheat your grill and then turn off one side. Place the chicken on that side. After the oils have dripped off and at the end to give color place over the flame to finish them off.
