These are my musings:

1. I wanted to combine these two trailers and make a mobile kitchen. I have a single axle trailer under the smoker and had the shocks & springs welded to restrict the bouncy movement. I was thinking of cutting off the trailer tongue and welding the remaining to the rear of the other trailer creating a 3 axle trailer. But as you can imagine...this is really heavy and will be even heavier. I already cut the fencing on the other trainer down to a uniform 2 foot height all around. or should i just cut the box off and place it on the double axle trailer?

2. I also purchased two 3 foot fire pit rings to put inside as an additional heating source. They are a little too big and I will probably need to add a black pipe or purchase 2 ft fire pit rings instead, advice needed.

3. Keeping this monster heated with wood & charcoal is a costly and time consuming proposition. I had a 6ft firewood grate installed for the wood and charcoal now. Should I place the propane burner source under the firewood grate? with a 3 inch clearance between them??

3. The dimensions are 8 ft width, 7 ft depth and 6 ft height. There is heavy angle inside which all the grates sit on with a quarter inch vertical channel separating the 8ft total width. I was thinking of inserting a quarter inch metal plate (6ft by 4ft) vertically between the sides to make them smaller sections (4 ft widths) more manageable for heating consistency. The grates are all 4ft by 4ft and slide back and fourth the full 7 ft depth.

I'm open to any suggestions, comments or thoughts.

Pretty huge outfit. Is that a 5000# axle (at least)? Most heavy axles are 7 lug. Pretty dangerous for pulling for yourself and other travelers.
