Ok we are having a get together at a freinds house tomorrow. Have to bring a dish or something. Need ideas for something new and different. I have all kinds of stuff in the freezer as far as meats go. Just want to do something different from the usual ABT or bbq meat balls. Any ideas come to mind? I'm up for anything. We have to be there around 4 Tomorrow and its all snack/appetizers type dishes. So I will be some what limited for time.

ABT?

Pinterest is a great place for inspiration.
Yea you know...ABT atomic buffalo turd! Jalapenos stuffed then wrapped in bacon. ...but I have made these a lot for get togethers the last few week's and want to make something new.

Ok Preacher Man. Burnt pork ends look great. I have all I need for that. Keep the ideas coming!

Bacon wrapped dates

Wings

Smoked sausage and cheese platter

Smoked deviled eggs are always good and they're easy too. This is for 6 eggs so adjust as needed.

6 hard boiled eggs peeled.
3 tbs mayonnaise.
1 tsp Dijon mustard.
1 1/2 tbs pickle relish-I prefer dill but some like sweet. Or you can use canned diced jalapeno.
salt and pepper to taste.
smoked or regular paprika for garnish

Cold smoke the peeled hard boiled eggs to a bronze like color, 1hr to an hr and a half. For more smoke flavor cut in half and remove the yolk before smoking.

When eggs are done smoking, cut in half and remove the yolks if you didn't do it before.

Mash the yolks up in a bowl with a fork, add the mayonaise, Dijon, pickle relish, salt/pepper and stir.

Spoon the yolks back into the egg halves and garnish with the paprika.

This is really close to the same recipe I made for this same group of folks last time we all got together! Lol . great recipe and eggs always go over very well! I always use bread and butter pickled jalapenos that we can out of the garden! Adds a little sweet

Stuffed mushroom caps are always a hit here. Pulled pork sliders. Smoked cheese platter if you have any. Pork belly burnt ends. Fried Mac and cheese balls.

Know you aren’t in for stuffed bacon wrapped jalapeños but with a twist make a batch of buffalo chicken dip in the crock pot and stuff some of the jalapeños with it and then take the leftover dip with you. Kill two birds with one stone.

Also do a search for pineapple bacon crack. Can’t remember who posted it but out of this world good.

Just smoked it, slice it, and put it on tray with some different cheese cubes, crackers, etc.

One of my go to appetizers, that is always a heat, is simply smoking (really just heating) the Hillshire all beef smoked sausage, slicing it into bite size pieces and serving it on a board with cheese and crackers. Put some toothpicks out.

Malcom Reed, from How To BBQ Rigbt, swears by a smoked sausage and cheese board/platter.

Yep, you need something new then! They're good tho and after thinking about it I'm probably going to start some eggs boiling. :)

Stuffed mushrooms sound good and I'll have to check out the pineapple bacon crack!

Smoked sausage and cheese is always good thats for sure. But I was thinking something not that simple. Maube wrapping some chunks in bacon and then smoke? And then just put in a crockpot with some sauce? Just really trying to get something different thats new for everyone. Im sute I'll be up all night thinking of something! Lol.

Pork Shots are good. Pulled Pork Egg Rolls
