I've been using oversized spray bottles, while they do an acceptable job they are overkill. I've tried smaller 8oz ones but they either work poorly or quit working in short order. Has anyone come across a 8-10 oz bottle sprayer that provides good spray coverage?

I've tried all sorts of bottles at various prices and for me.. it's easier to just use the big bottles that are like 99 cents. I realize this doesn't answer your question. Just letting you now that's what I have settled on. The bigger bottle doesn't bother me as long as the sprayer is decent

I am a big fan of Evo sprayers. Can get a 2 pk and use one for olive oil and the other for whatever. The best oil sprayers I ever used. I just got a couple 8 oz ones. Had the 16 for long time. Hint don't spray boiling water in them. They not cheap but spray a nice wide heavy spray.

My wife bought me one something like this.
I like the mist it sprays as it doesn’t interfere with my rub on ribs. I like it but wish I could find one that produces the same misting but more volume, of that makes any sense..

I don't know if these are the same 8 oz bottles with which you've had bad luck, but I'm actually very impressed with the 97 cent bottles at Walmart, found in the cosmetic section. spray bottle I don't spray anything thick with them, but for any non-viscous liquids they work great.

For home use, where I'm rarely smoking huge amounts of meat anyway, I use those, and I also keep apple juice juice boxes in the cupboard. That way I've always got apple juice available for misting, without having a partial half-gallon bottle of the stuff taking up space in my fridge.

NAPA Auto sells a 16 ounce bottle that is the best spray bottle I've ever used. They also sell replacement sprayers (you do have to trim the hose as it fits the 32 ounce bottles). I use them for degreaser, Clorox Clean-up, and have one for barbecue liquids. About once a year the Clorox attacks the sprayer twist cap and it will crack.

Another place to look is the pet store . Reptile sprayer . It's the kind you pump up , then just pull the trigger . Has a good fine mist . We used to use them when doing remodels in occupied buildings to keep the dust from foot traffic down .
