Hell all, i am new to both the forum and smoking. i do not have a real smoker yet, but will very soon. I just use my gas grill with one burner on low and wood chips over it and put the meat on the other side, it works ok. I have experimented with ribs and a couple of other things. This is my version of PignIt's monster! Sorry for low quality pics.

Welcome to the SMF,We are glad to have you onboard

Q view is okay

Welcome to the forum. Where you from in Colorado?

Nice job! Don't worry about not having a 'real smoker' and using the gas grill! I did that for several years with great results before I got my first ECB! Also, welcoem to the SMF!

First off welcome to SMF you'll like it here cause there are alot of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. Now as far as your first Oview you did great all the pictures are here and in pretty good shape and you got the smoke ring an all.

Then to your "The Big Moink Daddy fatty" you did a fab job there too but we need to know whats in it and then what the smoker is and the temp of it too. After all of that we want to know what temp it was when you pulled it and you have he sliced Qview so you all in all did a wonderful "GREAT" job on the whole first timer thingy.

To answer the ingredients- its just meatloaf stuffed with onion, bacon, mushroom, jalapeño, garlic and cheddar jack cheese. pulled at 160* not sure about cooking temp, but took 5 and a half hours. I'm hooked, bought a brinkman smoker today and have big plans for tonight! will post qview

Nice job on the monster- I am thinking I may have to do one of those soon

Welcome aboard my friend! Your pictures are very nice, I haven't got that skill down very well as yet. Lots of good things here
