pork 1.jpg pork 3.jpg pork 4.jpg pork 5.jpg I did it! I smoked my first butt a couple weeks ago. OH MY was it good!!! SO good that I did another one the following weekend, and it was even better. I don't have a "smoker" because I'm to undecided as to which one to buy so I used my Weber kettle and it worked perfectly. I'm hooked. It was almost more fun cooking it than it was eating it. (almost) I'm smoking some ribs this weekend. I am having so much fun doing this. I can't wait for the Florida gathering next month!!! I'm going to learn so much!

Points to you on this fine lookin BBQ ... guess the new forum this post slipped threw the cracks ... fine job ,,

Looks good . Nothing wrong with a kettle .

Congrats and welcome to the wonderful world of smoking!!! :)

Looks mighty good! Let us know how those ribs turn out. The 3-2-1 technique makes some really good ribs.

Congrats!!! and a point. Looks good. And now that you are hooked line and sinker attached welcome to the world of smoking....... Enjoy and share your experiences.....

Nice job on the PP. You'll find alot of members here use a kettle. Most versatile smoker /grill out there with all the different accessories available. My go to for small cooks.

Great job on the PP! You’ll never go to a BBQ joint again without comparing theirs to yours LOL!
I went from Electric to Gas to Offset “Stick Burner”, but I’ve used the old Weber more this year (with a little help from a “Vortex”) than the offset. If you can cook like that with a kettle you can cook with anything. Take your time picking a smoker.
Welcome to the forum!

What a nice Butt... (oooops... did I say that outloud) Great job... the kettles are so versatile .. keep smoking with it and we'll see you at the Gathering ...
