well the kids are adults now so was looking forward to a quiet christmas eve without being up all night assembilng toys and whatnot,

but my third child had other plans,    she went and broke her lep around midnight

first i had to find a vet open on news year eve then off to the docs.    we got back home around three with a new invalid

of course she needs carrying around and is milking this as far as she can

i think the vet thought it was funny to write 12/25 on the bandage just so i have to look at it all the time

merry christmas

Maybe the 12/25 was actually $1225 . for a Christmas eve call out?

How do you find a vet open at that time!  How did she break her leg?  Jumping off your lap?

I don't know about anywhere else but around here the vets usually have an oncall person. If your pet is in need they will come in and help you out. I'm sure it isn't cheap at all but at least you can get the help that you need.

its a 24 hour vet that never closes  the cost was only 500 for the visit xray setting and casting even includes one follow up visit

Poor, Poor, Baby! It looks like she needs somebody to hold her and spoil her Rick. They truly do become part of the family don't they?
