Haven't posted in awhile

Day off today and it was a beautiful 50 degrees here in good ole Illinois so fired up the ole smoker. early this morning

Tried out new rub .. BIG BALDS Rub from Jeff's book.   cut back on the cayenne and chili powder just a bit

to suit my sweet to heat tastes.  and I have to say I really loved it ...  It really compliments my homemade sauce.

Good choice on the Sierra Nevada! One of my favorites when I'm ahead on bills and can afford to splurge a little. Nice color on the Chix too.

Tasty looking bird! Can't say much about the beer, haven't had a Sierra in years. Guess that'll happen when one lives in the Beer Mecca!!!
