The whole meal looks great . I've only done one . Just don't see them here . They are fantastic .
Nice work bud .

Nice looking hunk of Beef. If waiting to restock my supply Yeungling Lager and then I can Smoke my first TT EVER. Looking forward to the adventure. May try burning only wood, California Style...JJ
Thanks JJ. Can't wait to see yours. I normally just dry rub but I do one with soy, Wooster, orange juice, garlic and red pepper flakes that pretty delicious. I have a thread on it somewhere

That's a fine looking meal there Jake!! Nice job buddy. That TT would have been perfect here: some parts cooked to my liking and some the way Tracy likes it. I just ordered two yesterday that will be here tomorrow. Was gonna spin one Sunday but realized I'd run out so had to improvise.

Robert
Thanks Robert and yep I like the more med rare parts. Sometimes the whole TT comes out perfect and sometimes the tail part gets a little too medium but all in all the whole thing is tasty

Very nice TT Jake! I’m going to do one next week when I’m off. I’m thinking of using the coffee rub again too.

That baked potato sounds awesome with the garlic and hab cheese. Thanks for making me this hungry in the morning.
Appreciate it joe. Can't wait to see yours. I was skeptical of coffee rub but no longer

Thanks chop. Shame this cut isn't more readily available. Seems to be making its way into more places lately

That looks fantastic Jake, nice piece of work, Like! Growing up in CA I did a tri darned near every week, used to buy them in bulk. I hardly ever see them on display here in AZ and when I do I don't like the price. RAY

I did the coffee rubbed last time, Now I’m pondering my choice because a marinade over charcoal sounds good too!!

Choices choices.

Dang Jake that thing is beautiful. You know its cooked perfectly when all those juices just pour out when you slice it. Baked potato with garlic butter and hab cheese on the side? Yep sign me up. Nice cook man!

TT takes marinade very well joe. Here's my thread with the marinade. It won't disappoint

Since this thread I've switched out the brown sugar for a little bit of honey. I like that better
