Hi all,

The latest updates and mods to my MES 30 analog includes new legs and casters. Links to posts detailing all the other mods are at the bottom of this post.

The original legs were getting rusty - I'm surprised the unit was still standing actually. And the casters i had originally put on were a bit dinky.

The new leg assembly amounts to trolly cart essentially. The unit is a bit taller now, which make loading/unloading much easier.
The wheels are 4in steel.
The legs are 4x4 cedar.
The top is 2x4 cedar with a rabbet joint and two layers of red brick.
The brick serves as an insulating standoff between the smoker base and the wooden legs. It's also mostly esthetic. I was going for smoke house look.

Let me know what you think.
Thanks for looking.

My other mods:

Should work fine. I ran ratchet strap across and secured to my cart. Little added security when rolling it out of the garage.

I think it looks good . Maybe a rack brace near the bottom of the legs , but yeah ,, I think the brick gives it a smokehouse look . Nice work .
