I dried a bunch of thyme. Dont really use it much though. Also dried other things using your method. Got a bunch of sage. Sure wish I would of got that basil going before plant died off. At least I got a bowl of Pho in.
 
Dumb question. If I buy japs from store, can I turn them red by sitting in the sun? Or no deal as they need to be on the vine?

Not sure but probably on the vine. I can say the ones I let turn red got kind of soft and no heat.
 
I just let them sit on the counter . Normally you like them to be starting to turn . Not sure if store bought work the same way , but I pick and just put them out of the was on the counter . No sun . but natural light .

They were all green when picked . Gonna slit and put in the oven today .
