My Kamado Joe has frozen shut. I did a brisket cook, and after the cook was over, I opened the vents to let stuff burn off, and now I can't open the KJ. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix?

OP was Dallas, maybe frozen wasn’t the right word? Maybe greasy gasket stuck together, so some hot water, like from a tea kettle would work.

Probably from the grease / residue between the lid and the body . My WSM does the same thing . Wouldn't take much heat to free that up .
Can you heat it up through a lower vent ?
My WSM did this too. I think I used my heat gun or hot water and it released.

1 ounce of C4 will rectify the issue.

Not overly helpful but was the first thing that came to mind.
