My Kamado Joe has frozen shut. I did a brisket cook, and after the cook was over, I opened the vents to let stuff burn off, and now I can't open the KJ. Does anyone have a suggestion to fix?
is it a greese build up thing?take a heat gun to the "joint" (hair dryer not hot enough)
Probably from the grease / residue between the lid and the body . My WSM does the same thing . Wouldn't take much heat to free that up .frozen shut.
