Is it worth our while? Forum for Mods/Cons on smokers

To our most greatly appreciated forum members: the SMF Moderators

The forum for smoking supplies and equipment does not contain a forum for modifications (mods) or conversions (cons) under any of the different types of smokers. Would it be too much to ask...? Maybe by popular brands, or by type alone might work great.

I know this might be a stretch, but if you can pull it off.

I'm thinking there may be a huge explosion in participation here. It is a pretty popular topic, check your #'s and see if you can make it happen?

While I am not a mod, nor ever want to be one, I would like to interject that each forum for each type of smoker does have a sticky for modifications for each type of smoker. Is that not what you would like, or are you talking about a seperate forum for just smoker modifications/construction?

Yeah, that. So you can post/show and others can find conversions, mods, new home builds, did I miss anything? I come up empty handed on some searches, maybe I'm not doing the advanced search right, I don't know.

shirley, you take a mod idea from one method, and another from another, to make it work for you..........then post LOTS of pics, and maybe THAT gets to be a sticky

What's that? Throw ECB in trash & enjoy life?

Just kidding. I too had an ECB (still got it) and used it for years. I just had to get something that would allow me to cook a full slab of ribs.
