Hi all, if you're looking for an inexpensive cold smoke generator, here's one that costs 2$ in one of the cheapo stores.
It's a stainless steel colander that you push down on, to get the desired form.
It's 12" across 10" net, but bigger is even better. I tested mine and got 6 hours plus on 7/8 full. There must be a small gap!
It pus out nice amount of smoke that can be regulated by the height of sawdust.
It's good for sawdust only unless you can air assist
