East Texas Guy here and first I would like to thank Brian Mudd for Helping me get here. was having a little trouble with the Registering so a Big thanks to him. Now for me been smoking for years have a BIG old home built smoker that burn's way to much wood and Im getting to old to be out all hours of the night feeding that thing. and got tired of the Gas Grill taste. have a pit grill also thats good for a quick steak over Mesquite wood. then I tried the masterbuilt electric smoker I know a lot like them but to me there not very good at smoking plus it only lasted as long as the warranty then it started with controller problems so it got trashed. now on to my new Smoker Brothers pellet pooper, had my first test run last night 10/22/17. But that is for another thread, LOL well look forward to telling lies and shooting the Bull with you guys

Welcome Moose! Sounds like a smaller and more efficient home built smoker might be in your future.You have all the know how on this forum at your fingertips to do so.Let us all know how the pellet works for you....
