Howdy I'm from Southern California, work on the railroad and I have two cats and a wife.
I'm new to the world of grilling and smoking. I bought a little Aussie walkabout grill a month ago and got hooker on charcoal and smoke. I've done my best at indirect smoking chicken and grilled about everything I can get my hands on lol. I think about BBQ constantly, I think I'm developing a problem!

So I'm ready to upgrade to a Weber for my grilling and smoking. I've found a very reasonably priced 18 1/2 inch one touch silver for sale. My question is should I just go for the gusto and get the 22 inch platinum? I don't have a ton of space as were saving to buy a home. If anyone has any experience with the 18 1/2 inch Weber good or bad I would love to hear from you thank you.

Welcome and I love my 22" Weber as it gives me the room to cook multiple things at once.

Welcome to the forum!  I've got an 18.5 WSM and a 22.5 kettle, I think its the best of both worlds!

Mike
