How much meat can you fit on a 22.5 grate?

2 full racks of ribs, 2 huge chicken breasts, 4 bone in thighs and 4 leg quarters. I think I could have got 2 more racks in there.









Before anyone says about the dark chicken, my guests wanted bbq sauce on the chicken. I hate how it turns black. Tasted good just don't look good.
 
Nice haul Adam.

For the record, I'd eat that chicken with or without the sauce

  I understand about the chicken.  I ask all of my guests to try it without sauce.  There are those that have to have it.

Wow, this is awesome!!  What was the set up?  chicken on the direct side and the ribs on the indirect side?  POINTS for a packed kettle!!

Edit:  Or is this a WSM?  either way it is impressive!!

This was on my wood burning uds.      All direct wood fire heat.

That looks awesome. New to smoking....was all that put on at the same time? Length of cooking?
All put on at the same time.  Cooked about 2 hours.   Ribs and chicken all done perfect.
 
Great job--Huge amount of food.  Good thing you have the UDS.

Even the black chicken looks good.
