Home Town Heroes Banner Program

My Home Town. “Quakertown” started what they call “Home Town Heroes” to honor those who have served in the Military, Living or deceased.

This Link Tells all about the Program:

We entered Our Dad “James H Horne” (WW2), and my Brother “James H Horne Jr” (Vietnam).

They wanted to add my name & Picture too, but I told them to wait until I meet My Dad & Brother in the Beyond.

I’ll try to add the pictures My Sister took while they were putting them up.

Here's one I think about often. "John Russell Millikan"
We were friends in school & I lost track of him after Graduating.
Then I heard he went to Vietnam in May of 1968.
Then I heard he was MIA for Days or Weeks.
Then they found his whole squad on August 18, 1968, where they had been caught in an "L-Ambush", and he and his whole squad were wiped out. He was in Vietnam 3 months.
John was one of the toughest guys in school.
54 years later, and it still hurts.

Say "Hi" here, and an "RIP to Johnny":

Bear
