Hello all. My name is Carl. I have been utilizing the sites information for about a year now as I have slowly learned a little bit of the hobby and figured I would join the club. I have had a Charbroil Electric for about year and have dabbled in Salmon, Pork Chops, Pork Shoulder, Jerky, Chicken, and cheese...OHH the cheese (come on i mean I am from wisconsin). So far it has been fun, but I am always learning more things. I like my electric for the ease of its use, and its combination with the Amazen pellet smoker has been fantastic. If no one here as looked into the Charbroil 725 smoker they should. I bought it over the Masterbuilt due to its heavy duty latch and seemingly solid and insulated construction. So far it has been great at holding fairly accurate temps especially in cold Wisconsin winters. The smoker box it comes with is Junk though in my opinion but the Amazen fixed that.

Cant wait to share recipes with you all.
