Wet behind the ears new member from W Central FL here.

Come to research plans and tactics for new smokehouse under construction out at the camp.

Been using an old Brinkmann smoker for years but want to cold smoke hams, quarters and sausage.

Hope to get the benefit of yall's experience and maybe contribute some too.

Hey Piney;

 been reading the smokehouse section since I first logged in. Saw yer location was FL but noticed those pines in some of yer pics and knew you were farther north from me.

I split my time between Manatee and DeSoto counties. Wish you were closer, I'd have a look at your smokehouse before I start cuttin lumber to build mine.

Thanks yall for the warm welcomes.

Think I'll keep reading for awhile before I start asking questions that have been answered 20 times already.
