Have a vertical propane smoker I bought used to test the waters with. I've used it with good results for a year, but I just picked up a MES340G at Sam's club for $229. Got the electric for no fuss longer cooks, but probably going to build my own charcoal or pellet smoker this winter.

Also I'm residing in eastern Iowa!
