Just wanted to say how nice it is to find somewhere for us smoking enthusiasts to share some ideas and tips.
As a rookie smoker I'm thankful for any guidance and advice I can get!
My family and I (beautiful wife and two little girls) live in Ontario, Canada about an hour's drive north of Toronto. We live in a rural area called Caledon and have a cottage by the lake in Muskoka so there is lots of opportunity to fire up the smoker and enjoy a big family meal.
I use a propane fired Masterbuilt XL for my smoking needs and I have a large Masterforge charcoal bbq for grilling as well as a 5 burner Vermont Castings stainless steel gas grill for convenience.
I hope to be able to learn from the masters on this forum and maybe even one day, be able to contribute myself.
