Finally got the time to stop lurking and drop an intro. New smoker here from Tampa. Got a ECB for my birthday and then charged with the task of smoking the turkey for Thanksgiving. Nothing like a little pressure, right? I seasoned it and smoked a couple racks of ribs the week before to get familiar with the process, signed up for the e-course and poured over countless posts until I figured out exactly what to do and...it came out great, so big ups for all the help here. I had planned on plenty of Q-view to go along with this post, but completely forgot the camera in the rush to get things ready. I didn't really have time to make any mods, but luckily I ran across a Kingsford tabletop grill that pretty much fit the bill for the mods I would make any way. Holes in the bottom, ash catcher and a vent on the side, all for $10. Works perfect.
