Hi everyone my name is Shane I am from Florida I have been grilling and smoking for about 10 years. I have a New Braunfels smoker I don't know what model it is, which is the reason I found this forum. I was trying to find info on my smoker when I came across this site and lurked for a little while and seen that this is a cool site. I am looking forward to the wealth of information that this site has to offer. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to SMF. There are a lot of very friendly & knowledgeable folks here to help you. I urge you to sign up for the free E-course. It will give you the basics, & even if you are an experienced smoker you may learn something new. Then start asking questions. Good luck & glad to have you aboard. Dodeen welcome. You have come to the right place for info. Everyone is very willing and there isn't anying that someone hasn't done or have a solution for in regards to smoking meat.

P.S I grew up in Pensacola. Moved to Kansas after college.

Also for those of you new to smoking,  Get a good Probe Thermometer as we smoke by Temperature NOT TIME.
