Hello All,

Just joined.  I am in NC and a total newb.  I am not currently using a smoker or have a pic to post.  I am looking to learn, gain perspective and eventually get a good smoker and start rolling with cooking good smoked meat.

I have done a bit of research and I think I am leaning toward wood-burning horizontal offset smokers.  I am still undecided on reverse flow versus forward? flow.  I am open to both, really and have seen good arguments on both sides of that debate.

In any case I am looking forward to jumping into the forum and bbq eco system!
