Hello from Central VA

Hello everyone....I'm from Central VA (near Fredericksburg)....I use a Masterbuilt vertical propane smoker....Started smoking meat about a year ago....wish I could say everything has come out perfect, but that's the best part of trail and error....I have tried many things in the smoker, (except fish, which is on the smoker bucket list) including vegetables (with success!)....I wish i could smoke everyday, but life duties (husband, dad, taxi) regulate me to a couple of weekends a month...I enjoy reading about new methods and ideas for smoking.

Also for those of you new to smoking,  Get a good Probe Thermometer as we smoke by Temperature NOT TIME.



A good choice for a remote dual probe thermometer is the Maverick ET-732
